In the second half of the year 2009 KVADOS Group decided to certify all its internal processes pursuant to ISO 9001 in order to prove that all key processes, which it was improving continuously, were in accordance with generally applicable regulations. KVADOS Group selected the Czech branch of an international certification leader on the world market - Bureau Veritas Certification—to carry out the certification.
The certification audit was successfully completed on the 22nd December 2009. KVADOS, a.s. was certified pursuant to ISO 9001:2009 (quality management), ISO 18001:2008 (occupational safety and health protection management) and ISO 14001:2005 (environmental management). Its subsidiary - KVADOS Mobile Solutions s.r.o. – was certified pursuant to ISO 9001:2009.
The certification process will continue in the first quarter of the year 2010 because KVADOS Group would like to be certified also in information technology service management in line with ITIL guidelines pursuant to ISO 20000-1:2006 and in information security pursuant to ISO 27001:2006. The both key companies from KVADOS Group will be audited pursuant to those standards. KVADOS will become then one of few companies in the Czech Republic that have been certified pursuant to ISO for all 5 standards that might be applicable in the information technology segment.
“I am really happy that our long-lasting efforts to improve the quality have been verified and confirmed by an independent third-party authority. We did not want to be given such "the certificate" - the key objective was to check whether we succeeded in adjusting all processes and services in line with the standards," Managing Director of KVADOS Group Miroslav Hampel points out. What I regard as very positive is that we have managed to set and certified the entire process, in fact, without a piece of paper. All documents are kept in our internal information system based on Microsoft SharePoint,” Miroslav Hamper emphasises.
All KVADOS Group partners consider the certificates to be evidence of a high level of management of the company. For clients, the certificates are the warranty that KVADOS Group regards the quality management process as one of its priorities. KVADOS Group intends to offer its clients as another interesting opportunity its experience in e-conversion of the entire process based on Document Management System and dynamically defined workflow for management of circulation and approval of all documents, records and regulations.
